Chris Green, author of the best-selling book, Arbitrage, has just released another book entitled Online Arbitrage.
Mr. Green’s prior book, Arbitrage, was one of the references that my wife and I used when we were getting started with Fulfillment By Amazon (FBA), and contained enough information to enable her to more than replace her income as a CPA. She also found that FBA was a lot more fun than working as an accountant.
Online Arbitrage was just released today, so I have not had a chance to read it yet. However, given Mr. Green’s reputation and depth of knowledge displayed in his prior book, I have no hesitation in recommending this book. He has become the leading authority in this field.
It has a pretty steep price tag, so this is not a tome that you would just buy on a whim. It is intended for the person who is willing to make a substantial investment in both effort and money to succeed in this business.
If the high price of Online Arbitrage is a put-off, there is a good chance that this business model is not for you. Our experience was that until we were able to invest several thousand dollars and a lot of effort in this business, it didn’t really make a lot of money.
If you just not convinced that the book is worthwhile, you might want to start with his prior book, Arbitrage ($9) first, to learn about the basics of the retail arbitrage business. It’s a bit outdated now, but still worth a read.
As I mentioned, my wife and I got enough information from Arbitrage to give us a very good start in the FBA business.
My wife also has a book out on the FBA business, but we recently took it down off of Amazon for a much-needed overhaul, because the business has changed a lot in the last couple of years. Given that she makes a lot more money doing it than teaching about it, and I’m also busy doing other things right now, it may be a while before her book is back in publication.
